Everton are reportedly keen on signing Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia and have submitted an offer that includes Neal Maupay as part of the deal.
The Toffees are hoping to land the 27-year-old Senegal international before a clause in his contract becomes active, which would allow him to leave the Serie A club for a reduced fee.
Dia has been in impressive form for Salernitana this season, scoring 10 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions.
He has also been capped 19 times by Senegal, scoring four goals for his country.
Everton are believed to be keen on adding Dia to their squad as they look to improve their attacking options.
The Toffees have struggled for goals this season, scoring just 17 goals in their first 19 Premier League games.
Dia would provide some much-needed firepower to the Everton attack and would be a welcome addition to Frank Lampard's squad.
